Mrs. Mollie Sears Doxey, 56, wife of Issac Doxey died at the residence on Knotts Island yesterday at 1:35 p.m. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Paul D. Irving of Broad Creek Village, and Miss Louise Doxey, of Knotts Island; a son W. Colin Doxey, both of Currituck County North Carolina; two grandchildren, Bryan D. And Paul D. Irving jr. And several nieces and nephews. Mrs Doxey was a native of Currituck county and has been a resident of Knotts Island for 36 years. She was a member of Currituck Memorial Methodist Church.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown funeral home pending funeral arrangements.
