Twelve Deflance County 4-H Advisors were recently honored for length of service as 4-H Advisors at the 28th Annual Advisor's recognition luncheon. The event was held in the Ohio Union at Ohio State University, March 16. Those honored were:
25 yrs: E.W. G ustenslager, R t 1 Hicksville
15 yrs: Mrs. Jack (Elinor) Bauer Rt 2 Hicksville and Mrs. Charles (Virginia) Kruse
10 yrs: Mrs. Joseph (Maxine) Yekisa Rt 1 Ney and Melvin Hoellrich Rt 8 Defiance
5 yrs: Mrs. Gerald Wirth (Ruby) Sherwood; Mrs. Donald (Valetta) Keeterle Defiance
Mrs. Gene (Ethel) Cline Mark Center; Mrs. Keith (Donna) Grimm Sherwood
Mr & Mrs. Leon (Vera) Gallant Defiance and Mrs. Larry (Phyllis) Retcher Holgate.
Those attending the luncheon were EW Gustenslager, Virginia Kruse, and Mr & Mrs Joseph Yekisa.
