SPORES - Lawrence (Dutch) Claud Spores of 38329 Wheeler Road, Dexter, died March 6, 1983, at the age of 78. He was born June 9, 1904 and was the son of Edgar and Mettie Spores. He married Alma Wells, June 7, 1958, in Washington. He was born in Coburg, Oregon and lived his entire lifetime in this area, was a member of the American Legion, Post 40. He is survived by his wife, Alma of Dexter, 3 step-sons, Raymond Deets, Evanston, Illinois, Dean Deets, Oak Harbor, Washington; Elton Taylor, Sweet Home, Oregon; one sister, Mary Gertrude Ruddies, Seattle, Washington; 9 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 9, at 2 p.m. in West Lawn Memorial Park, Pastor Larry Revert, Trent Church of Christ officiating. Visitation will be Monday until 9 p.m. Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 1 p.m. at BUELL CHAPEL.
