Douglas Taylor Robinson, 75, of 318 Rollingwood Drive, retired branch manager of National Cash Register Corp., died of a heart attack at his home. A mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Richard Catholic Church with burial in Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral home.

Mr. Robinson, a native of Louisville, KY., had lived in Jackson 27 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He served with the 509th Paratroop Infantry Battalion. He was a prisoner of war and retired as a staff sergeant. He was a former resident of Covington, Ky., where he was branch manager for National Cash Register Corp., before moving to Jackson in 1964. He was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church for 27 years and a member of the Jackson Country Club.

Survivors include: wife, Mary; daughters, Joyce Noone, Jayne Kirkland and Joan Damiens, all of Jackson, Jeanne Derbes of Panama City, Fla., and Jill Saway of Austin, Texas and 14 grandchildren.
