Robert W. Mitchell, 74, died Wednesday morning at his home, 712 Fifth Avenue, following a long illness. He was a former employe (sp) of the American Linene Supply Company.
Mr. Mitchell was born July 5, 1866, at Stockton-on-Tees England, a son of Thomas and Elizabeth Wrightson Mitchell.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sophie L Mitchell: two sons, Robert L. Mitchell of Oakland, Calif., and William B. Mitchell all of Grass Valley, Calif.: three daughters, Mrs Margaret Cook of Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth Scott and Mrs. Gertrude Crooks of Salt Lake: three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Gunn and Mrs. Margaret Hjorth, both of Salt Lake and Mrs. Jennie Benson of Los Angeles, Calif., and 12 grandchildren.
