ADA - Services for Dewey Raymond Unsell, 73, Ada, are 2 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. John Bauch and Bill Sluder will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Unsell died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, in Ada. He was born Feb. 19, 1932, at Sulphur to Houston and Bonnie Dobson Unsell. He attended Stratford High School
and moved to Ada from Stratford.
Mr. Unsell married Beatrice Birks Sept. 16, 1957, in Stratford. He was a Baptist and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Unsell was a dairyman, and later owned and operated the Hamburger King and the Aldridge Coffee Shop.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Unsell, of the home; two sons, Brian Unsell and wife Wanda of Ada, and Ray Unsell, Ada; one daughter, Teresa Unsell of California; two step-daughters, Remona Holloway and husband Patrick of McAlester, and Debbie Castoe and husband James of Connerville; three sisters, Arvie Cobb and Jacquita McMann, both of California, and Lucille Hampton, The Dalles, Ore.; three brothers, Louis Unsell, Ada, Donald Unsell and Charles Unsell, both of California; a stepsister, Betty Fanto, Pittsburg, Pa.; stepbrothers, Donald Crisp and Davis Crisp, both of Stratford, and Gerald Crisp, Konawa.; five grandchildren, Blake Unsell, Kristin Unsell, Misty Unsell, Jennifer Unsell and Jessie Vasquez Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Bill Bolin, J.B. Bolin Jr., Jerry Goodman, Jack Hisle, Kevin Sutton and George Gutierrez.
