"Cleo Sue Clack, 94, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at her residence. Born in Rhea County, she was the daughter of the late George Frazier and Eliza Rhea West. Cleo was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Bible Church, where she taught Sunday school and was the oldest member.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Baxter Clack; a daughter, Alta Sue Clack; a son, William Thomas Clack; and sisters, Decie Bell Posey and Louise Gatis.

Survivors include her daughters, Katherine June and Margaret Nell; a son, James Robert Clack, nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Bethel Bible Church with the Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald and the Rev. William Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Glen Alice Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Vaughn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Baptist Children's Home and Gideons International. Vaughn Funeral Home, Spring City, is in charge of arrangements."
