Wednesday, February 8, 1967

Mrs. Merla A. SINGER, 77, Rural Route, Kewanna, died Tuesday at her residence after a long illness.

Mrs. Singer was born in 1889 in Nebraska to John R. and Ella BRUCE BAKER. She married the Rev. Lester A. SINGER in December, 1910. She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist church in Argos.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Vera May WICKLINE, Kewanna; a brother, Dr. Ermal C. BAKER, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Artha KREAMER, Kewanna, and two grandchildren. A sister and two brothers preceded in death.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Harrison chapel, Kewanna. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill cemetery. Friends may call after noon Thursday at the funeral home.
