Lena Bell Parker Lewis Brown, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at Marion County Medical Center.

She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late John Hooker Parker and Helen Ray Parker.

She was the retired owner and operator of Clip and Curl Beauty Salon and was a member of Mullins First Baptist Church.

She was first married to M. O'dell Lewis, who predeceased her.

Survivors include three sons, Dan Lewis and Jerry Lewis, both of Mullins, and Jack Lewis of San Angelo, Texas; two stepsons, Joe Brown of Santee and Ray Brown of Mullins; five stepdaughters, Louise Floyd of Albany, Ga., Mildred Simmons of Mount Pleasant, Virginia Capps and Marilyn Harrelson, both of Mullins and Earline Ricks of Surfside Beach; two brothers, Clifford Parker of Marion and Henry Parker of Clarkesville, Tenn.; a sister, Maggie Dae Benton of Andrews; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 22 step-grandchildren; and 36 step great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Flora Mae Mew.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Cox-Collins Funeral Home in Mullins.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Kenneth Sandifer and the Rev. Lewis E. McCormick will officiate. Entombment will be in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
