Mr. Martin passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011. A lifelong resident of Wilkinson County, he the son of the late B. M. And Mary Louise Brooks Martin, he was retired from Englehard Minerals and Chemicals and was a member of Baptist Gospel Mission.
Survivors include his wife Joy Soles Martin of Ivey, daughters Brande (John) Moody of Ivey, Wendi (Brad) Walker of Forsyth, Renee (Keith) Wilson of Gordon, and CaSandra Bentley of Lizella; sister Mary Francis McCook of Macon; and brother Boyd (Claire) Martin of Warner Robins; grandchildren Jessica Wealot, Nikki Moody, Marshall Moody, Michelle Moody, Taylor Dennard, Ashley (Michael) Smith, Brittany (Daniel) Griffin, Kendall Bentley;
great grandchildren Xchyler Smith, Layla Smith, Gabriel Griffin, his beloved dogs Dixie Lee and Rebel.
