Maude was a daughter of William Turner Martin and Lucy Ellen Goad. She was first married to Murray B. "Ted" Bagby. They were the parents of:
William Eugene Bagby
Wanda Lee Bagby McClory
Clifton Bagby
James Bagby
John Bagby

On December 1, 1956, she married Ernest Pfaff.
She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and Eagles Ladies Auxillary in Kokomo.
Surviving are sons: William E.Bagby of Centralia,IL, Clifton and James Bagby of Kokomo, John Bagby of Russiaville: and daughter, Wanda L. McClory of Lantana, FL.,: two step-sons, a step-daughter: a sister, Edna Martin of Tompkinsville, KY: 15 grandchildren, 15 step-grand-children, 23 great-grandchildren, 18 step-great-grand-children, and a great-great-grandchild. Five sisters preceded her in death.
Services were held at Ellers Mortuary in Kokomo.
