Her brothers, Andrew, Archibald, David and Thomas also emigrated to the Auburn area. All are buried at Fort Hill.

Mrs; Elizabeth Murdock Lester, 79, widow of Andrew H. Lester, died late Tuesday afternoon at her home, 22 Garrow Street, after a long illness. Mr. Lester died 5 weeks ago. Mrs. Lester was a member of Central Church of Christ Disciples and was affiliated with the Women's Council of that church.
Mrs. Lester is survived by three sons, Walter J. of Aurelius, George H. of Auburn and Frank H. Lester of King Ferry; a daughter, Mrs. Daniel G. Martin of Aurelius; a brother David Murdock of Auburn, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Burial in Fort Hill Cemetery.
Bearers were Kenneth Wright, Charles Sanford, Arthur Stebbins, Arthur Stevenson, Paul Murdock and Archie Murdock.
