Chadwick "Chaddy" Dillon Matthews, 23, of Spotsylvania County, formerly of Stafford County, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010.

Chad was a graduate of North Stafford High School.

Chad was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Ralph Stephen Blanco.

He is survived by his father, Burnham Matthews, and his wife, Debbie, and his mother, Joan Cordero, and her husband, Michael. Other survivors include brothers, Drew Quinlin Matthews, Michael Anthony Cordero and Daniel Keith Luke II and wife Shae; and a sister, Katie LeFever and husband Jay. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Erwyn Keith Matthews and Jane Louise Forrestt; and his maternal grandmother, Carol Hildreth Blanco.

The family will receive friends Wednesday Dec. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Home, Stafford Chapel, 186 Shelton Shop Road.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Thursday, Dec. 23, at noon at St. William of York Catholic Church, Jefferson Davis Highway, Stafford, with inurnment to follow in Stafford Memorial Garden.
