Knoxville: Virginia Campbell Hayes, age 73, born August 24, 1935, in Rogersville died Friday, April 17, 2009 at St. Mary's Health Systems after an extended illness. She was a member of Rogersville United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Norma Price Campbell, and husband, Haskell Bacon.
Survivors include her children, Kathy Chance, Robert Bacon and wife, Karen, Jimmy Hayes and wife, Tammy all of Knoxville, Bernice Hayes and friend Judy Cox of Rogersville; grandchildren, Johnny Chance, Suzie Horner, Chris Chance, Georgia Beth Bacon, Reed Bacon and Virginia Hayes; and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville, Sunday, April 19th from 12 NOON to 3:00 P.M. with graveside services to follow at McKinney Cemetery with Rev. Kim Isley Beard officiating.
