Bobby Dean Ackerman, 73, of Batesville died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, in a Batesville hospital.
Born Jan. 25, 1937, in West Plains, Mo., he was the son of Paul Ackerman and Freda Green. He was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include four sons, Robert Ackerman of Kentucky, Bryan Ackerman of Indiana, Mike Ackerman of Kentucky and Gary Anderson of Batesville; a daughter, Sandra Anderson Miller of Batesville; a sister, Betty Jene Ackerman of Texas; and five grandchildren, Katie Ackerman, Megan Ackerman, Shean Ackerman, Colin Ackerman and Wesley Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be announced by the family at a later date.
