Charles Armand Minton may have been named in memory of Charles Armand Tuffin, marquis de la Rouerie (1751-1791) a French army officer who fought in some of the same battles of the American Revolution as did Lieutenant David Baker who was the great grandfather of Charles Armand Minton.
