Mrs. Sarah T. Byrd, widow of John B. Byrd, died at her home near Dawsonville, aged 73 years.

Mrs. Byrd was a Miss Veirs and a life-long resident of Montgomery County.

Her surviving children are Samuel D., Joseph, George, Annie, Mary, Elizabeth, and Elsie.

The funeral took place in morning from the farm residence with services conducted by the Rev. Chas. H. Waters. Burial in Monocacy Cemetery.
