Anna M. (nee Callahan) Leahy, 73, of 480 Prospect Avenue, Oradell, NJ, formerly of New Milford, NJ, died on Friday, March 28, 1975 after a long illness. She was a native of New York City and a resident of New Milford for 40 years. Anna was a past president for the PTA of Saint Joseph's School, a parishioner for 20 years of Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and a member of its Rosary Altar Society, all in Oradell. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Michael Leahy. Devoted mother of Jane Frances Mathews of Oradell and Robert Joseph Leahy of Willingboro. Dear sister of Mary A. Mahoney and Colonel Edward J. Callahan, both of Virginia. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren. Visitation was offered on Monday, March 31, 1975 from 2-4 and 7-10 PM at the Norman Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ 07649. The funeral was arranged in the funeral home on Tuesday, April 1, 1975 at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass conducted at 10:30 AM in Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 300 Elm Street, Oradell, NJ 07649. Interment followed at Maryrest Cemetery. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Little Sisters of the Poor Building Fund, 1 South 8th Street, Fairmount, NJ 07107.
