James R. Meier, 72, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, James was the president and owner of Classic Graphics for 30 years, retiring in 2010. He was a member of the St. Joe Athletic Club and served in the Army National Guard. Jim enjoyed spending time at the lake, golfing , fishing, and playing cards.

Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years Victoria Meier of Fort Wayne, sons, Jim Meier Jr. of Madison, WI and David (Phuong) Meier of Fort Wayne, daughter Karen (John) O'Dell of Fort Wayne ,brother Steve (Janice) Meier of Fort Wayne, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren . James was preceded in death by his daughter Kathryn Smith.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Saturday at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 4916 Trier Rd. with Fr. Tony Steinacker officiating, calling 1 hour prior to mass. Calling also 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Friday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. with a vigil service at 7:30 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery . Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the League for the Blind
