Married to William Jefferson Treadwell in Denton County, Texas on 26 Apr 1891.
I got this email from Joyce Meeks..Hello Charles.
I have good news for you. I could not believe that somewhere there was not something that would tell where Martha was buried and today I found it at the funeral home that bought out Totten Funeral Home years ago. I had checked records in Wichita Falls and found nothing, and had checked Aulds Funeral Home records with no success. I then found when Dutton Funeral Home closed here and moved to Iowa Park Mr. Dutton kept the old Totten records and they were at his funeral home in Iowa Park. On the back of Martha's record there was the notation that she is buried in the west 1/2 of lot 523 in New Electra Cemetery. It appears she is buried beside her daughter, Esther Bennett, but in an unmarked grave.
Additionally, found this information:
W. D. Bennett bought 4 spaces in West 1/2 of lot 523 of New Electra Cemetery.
Esther is in one space and has a marker. Her husband, Clarence J. is also shown to be buried there and now Martha. It is unknown whether anyone is buried in the 4th space.
