PANTEGO -- Billie Dixon Hardy went home to be with Lord, Monday, January 24, 2011.
Graveside Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park with Mr. David Kelley of the California Lane Church of Christ, officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-8 Wednesday evening at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Billie will be laid to rest next to her husband Marshel in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Billie was born to William Henry and Winnie Estes-Clark Dixon in Zephyr, Texas on March 21, 1931. She was educated and graduated Bangs High School. Billie was a member of various organizations including Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was also a member of the Woodland West Church of Christ.
Billie was preceeded in death by her husband of 43 years Marshel Hardy and her second husband Edwin Jones.
She is survived by her 3 daughters Gala Arambula and her husband Odie, Carla Percival-Young and her husband Mike, and Dr. Sarah Hardy; four grandchildren, Marshel McCormick, Sarah Arambula, Benjamin Percival, Rebekah Percival and her cat Sweetpea.
