James P. Lau
YORK - James P. Lau, 69, died Friday, January 21, 2011. He was the husband of the late Arlene B. Lau.
Born on July 23, 1941, in Seven Valleys, he was the son of the late Spurgeon H. and Kathryn B. (Krebs) Lau.
Mr. Lau retired from Caterpillar, Inc. after 30 years and also worked at Weis Markets. He was a United States Navy veteran. He was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a son, Doug J. Lau and his wife, Melody of Mt. Wolf; a daughter, Kimberly G. Korn of Mt. Wolf; and a grandson, Gavin M. Korn.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York, with the Rev. Brian A. McClinton officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with graveside military rites conducted by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
