Andrew Robert Badger, son of John and Sarah Camp Badger, was born in Scott township, Steuben county, Ind., Sept. 26, 1852. Departed this life at his home in York township Jan. 26, 1930 aged 77 years 4 months.

Almost his entire life was spent in this community.

He was united in marriage to Alice Henney, Nov. 2, 1878. To this union six children were born, Roy and Lura, and four others who died in infancy.

In 1895 he and his wife united with the Christian church at North Scott under the ministry of D. C. Hanselman. He was a good husband, a kind father and a faithful friend and neighbor.

He leaves to mourn his departure his two children, Roy and Mrs. Lura Cleckner, five grandchildren and two aged brothers, Melvin of California and Charles of Battle Creek, Mich. Also many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services at the North Scott church Tuesday, Jan. 28, conducted by M. O. Johnston. Burial at Dygert cemetery.
