Mr. Abel
Henry Ernest Abel, 66, 909 High St., Tuscumbia, died Friday at his home.
He was a native of Macon, Ga., an iron worker with TVA, a World War II veteran and a member of Iron Workers Local 477.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sibilene Abel; sons, Walter H. Abel, Tuscumbia; Thomas W. Able, Nashville; daughters, Mrs. William Holt, Mrs. Dorothy Newman, both of Nashville; sisters, Mrs. W.T. Cook, Decatur; Mrs. Rex Martin, Mrs. Willodean Holt, both of Dallas Tex.; four grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Morrison-Elkins Funeral Home Chapel, Tuscumbia. Bob Plunket will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Decatur.
Pallbearers will be members of Iron Workers Local 477.
