50 yr, single, Dropsy from cemetery database
Sunday afternoon 2 o'clock occurred the - death of Miss Fannie Abbott of 1520 Ripley street, after a lingering illness. The cause of death was a dropsical affection. The deceased was born in Ireland, but had been a resident of Davenport for about twenty years, where she formed a large circle of friends, who greatly deplore her death. She was a member of the Episcopal cathedral congregation.
There survive to mourn her loss a brother Henry Abbott of Chicago and two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Toovey of Victor, Iowa, and Miss Louisa Abbott of this city.
The funeral will take place tomorrow morning from the family residence at 10 o'clock. Interment will be at Oakdale cemetery.
