Mrs. Orme's Death
A Lady Well Known in Atlanta Passes Away in Alabama
Mrs. Julia C. Orme, died at her residence in Chambers co., Ala., at noon yesterday.
Many friends in Atlanta knew and loved her for her singular purity of character, her fervent piet and the beautiful and unselfish life the she led for fifty-three years.
Mrs. Orme was the daughter of Dr. Joseph Thompson, well known in Georgia, and was wedded to Colonel W. P. Orme in 1853. Colonel Orme was for twenty-five years the cashier of the Atlanta and West Point Railroad company, in this city; but some years ago failing health caused him to remove to his plantation in Alabama.
Mrs. Orme was a sister to Mrs. Richard Peters, Mrs. Thomas Clark, Mr. Joseph Thompson, and Mr. Edgar Thompson, of this city
She leaves three sons and four daughters, her eldest son, Mr. Joe Orme, being cashier of Lowery's bank.
The remains will arrive here at 9:15 today, and the funeral services will be conducted at St. Phillips, by Rev. George Funsten.

ORME - Mrs. Julia C., wife of W. P. Orme, died in Chambers county, Ala. at 12 m., on Friday. Services at St. Phillip's church at 10:30 this morning, Saturday, November 16th. Interment at Oakland cemetery.

Mrs. Julia C. Orme's Funeral
The funeral of Mrs. Julia C. Orme occurred, as announced yesterday, at 10 o'clock.
The services were beautifully conducted by Rev. George Funsten, and a large concourse of friends, who remembered and loved her, followed the remains to the grave.
