Betty Wright Abare, 80, of Lamesa, formerly of Slaton, passed away at her residence Monday, Jan. 10, 2011. She was born June 19, 1930, to Omar and Sally Mae Stinnett in Monnet, Ark.
She was preceded in death by James Wright; Johnny Abare; brother, Omar Stinnett Jr.; and one sister, Freda Mundy.
Services were held Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Mighty Oaks Assembly Of God, Slaton. Interment followed at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.
