Mr. Arthur Bille, 81, of 233 S. State St., Waupun, died Monday, October 27, 1986 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Bille was born Dec. 4, 1905 in the Town of Alto, the son of the late George and Bertha Vande Streek Bille. He married Jennie Heule in October of 1927 and she died Januray of 1932.
In September of 1933 he married the former Ada Wellhouse and the couple farmed in the Waupun-Alto area until 1970 when they moved to the City of Waupun.
He is a member of Union Congregational Church in Waupun, where he was a former deacon. He was also a former member of the Rock River School Board and has been sexton of Oak Mound Cemetery in Alto for over 40 years.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, John Bille of Fond du Lac, Donald Bille of Maryland; two daughters, Mrs. Jerome (Beverly) Den Boer of Sheboygan, Mrs. Earl (Grace) Hermann of rural Brandon; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, nine brothers and one son.
Funeral services were held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. Ralph Ley officiated. Burial followed at Oak Mound Cemetery, Alto. Visitation for Mr. Bille was held Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
