Msgr. May was the son of Frank and Mary (Fuchs) May. He was born in Hodsag, then part of Hungary, and now Odazci, Serbia/ He was the brother of Edward A. May who passed in 2010.


Rev. May served at Our Lady of Hungary Church from 1930 to 1936.Our Lady of Hungary Church - West 13th Street, Northampton, PA .

He then went to Sacred Heart in Millers Heights from 1936 to 1950.

He served as Rector of Our Lady of Hungary from 1950 to his death.
