Lenore E. Stoddard, age 83, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Lenore is preceded in death by her husband John D. Stoddard and sisters Jeanne Murphy, Geraldine Robbe and Gloria McMannis. Survivors include sons: John B. Stoddard, Jr., William C. Stoddard and wife Kim; daughter: Gloria Malmberg and husband Lane; grandchildren: Elizabeth Fitz, Jonas Lyon, Eric Malmberg, in addition to numerous great-grandchildren with a special mention to her first one, Austin Lyon. Lenore's Celebration of Life will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 15015 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at the Hampton at Spring Shadows for all their love and kindness to Lenore. A special thank you to nieces Donna Tarr and Judy Sherman for all their help and support to the family. Lenore loved and adored her granddogs Alex and Tootsie.
