Mrs. Minnie Lee Johnson Lambert, widow of Ervin Moody Lambert, of the Earle community of Williamsburg County, died at home on Tuesday, April 19, 1955.

Mrs. Lambert was born April 9, 1891, in the Earle community. She was a daughter of the late W. Lang Johnson and the late Mrs. Agnora Moore Johnson. She lived her entire life in Earle.

Mrs. Lambert was a charter member of Earles Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was active in church affairs.

She was survived by four daughters, Mrs. Gleny Powell of Lancaster, Mrs. Edward Powell, Mrs. Horace Ackerman, and Mrs. Mannie Cannon, all of near Andrews; eight sons, Willie Lambert of Lancaster, Bill Lambert of Rockingham, NC, Cecil Lambert of Kingstree, Roland Lambert, Clyde Lambert, Mannie Lee Lambert, Ervin M. Lambert Jr., and Jule Lambert, all of near Andrews; 47 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Lambert of Georgetown; three brothers, Calvin Johnson of Andrews, Troy Johnson of Florence, and Melton Johnson of Columbia; and a halfbrother, William Johnson of Georgetown.

Funeral services were Wednesday, April 20, 1955, at Earles Pentecostal Holiness Church. The Rev. L. P. Joyner, ther Rev. R. E. Powers, the Rev. Bob Stalvey, and the Rev. Lacey Drew officiated. Burial, directed by Mayer Funeral Home, followed in Bird Pond Cemetery.
