Ernie was the son of Cullon and Ruthie Jane Tull/Blades. Ernie had 3 children by Alma Rhodes, she died in childbirth with 4th child, a girl. She left a daughter, Helen, a son, Kenneth, and Lloyd. Ernie then married Myrle casey. They had Elsie, Jobbie, Annabelle, David. Divorced Myrle and married Josehphine Blades and one child, Barbara Jean. Josephine was married to Ernie's brother, Orie, who died also. They two children, Donald and Betty. After Orie died she married Ernie.
