Robert Mullenger died at his home near Belle Fourche Tuesday evening of this week. He had been sick for several weeks with cancer of the liver and his death had been anticipated for some time. He had held the office of county judge of Butte county two terms and was serving his third at the time of his death. He had also served as justice of the peace in Belle Fourche and at the recent city election was elected police justice as well as clerk of the city school board.
He was born in Suffolk, England in 1831, and was the father of thirteen children, all of whom are living but two. The funeral occurred Wednesday at the Congregational church in Belle Fourche under the auspices of the Odd Fellows.
