Edwin Robert "Bob" Armil Jr., 88, of Murfreesboro, Ark., died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, in Hot Springs, Ark.
Mr. Armil was born May 29, 1921, in Davenport, Iowa. He was retired from the United States government, a 32nd-degree Mason, a member of Mecca Lodge 523, Coggon, Iowa, and Grapevine Lodge 288, Grapevine, Texas, a Methodist and a World War II Army veteran. He was with the 101st Airborne, received 2 Purple Hearts and 3 Bronze Stars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eve Fusselman Armil; Sister, Shirley Schlodtfelt.
