Howard Leo Lashomb, 59, of 24 Pine St., died in Massena Memorial Hospital at 4:55 o'clock Wednesday morning, Feb.5, 1969, where he had been a patient three weeks.
The body is at the Phillips Memorial Home. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock at Sacred Heart Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Surviving are the wife; two sons, Raymond Lashomb, Sturbridge, Mass., and Donald D. Lashomb, Massena; mother, Mrs. Maud White, 57 Somerset Ave., one brother, Lester Lashomb, Massena; five grandchildren; three nieces and two nephews.
Mr. Lashomb was born July 10, 1909, in Brasher Falls, a son of Maud McDonald Lashomb White and the late William Lashomb.
He attended schools in Worcester, Mass., and married Miss Johanna (Jennie) Lamoureux, Apr. 5, 1925. They were married
in the Holy Name of Jesus Church in Worcester.
Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Massena and Mr. Lashomb began working at Massena Operations, Alcoa, Oct. 2, 1926. He was employed in the merchant mill until he retired in April 1966, due to health reasons.
He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the League of the Sacred Heart and the Alcoa 25 Year Club.
The League of the Sacred Heart will recite the Rosary Thursday night at 8 o'clock at Phillips Memorial Home, for Howard Leo Lashomb.
