Charles W. Duval
Funeral services were held in Marshfield at 2 o'clock this afternoon for Charles W. Duval, 70, Marshfield, who died there early Monday morning after a 2-weeks illness. He was born in Luddington, Mich., Jan. 15, 1883, and lived in Appleton until several years ago before he retired as conductor on the Chicago and Northwestern railway.
Duval was a brother of the late John Duval, Appleton, former detective lieutenant of the Appleton Police department.
Survivors include two sons, Gene and Glenn, both of Laguna Beach, Calif.
The Hansen Funeral home, Marshfield, had charge of arrangements, with burial in Hillside Cemetery there. The Rev. Oates of the First Presbyterian church, Marshfield, conducted the rites.
