Candice Leann Gullett, 16, of Monticello, Arkansas, died Thursday, July 10, 2003, at the Arkansas Children's Hospital at Little Rock, Arkansas, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Dumas.

Born July 19, 1986, at Dumas, she was a daughter of Glenn and Avis Dixon Gullet, both of Monticello.

She was a life-long loyal member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, she made her profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a Senior at Dumas High School.

Other survivors include one sister, Alicia Gullett of Monticello; and her grandmother, Sybil Gullett of Kingsland, Arkansas.

She lived life with enthusiasm that brought joy to all that knew and loved her. Much solace is found in the fact that she loved her Savior and Lord. Her smile will forever be a sweet memory for all that she touched in her sixteen years God blessed this world with.

Funeral Services were held Sunday, July 13, 2003 at the First Baptist Church with Brother Julius Carter, her pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, and also Derrick Peters officiating the packed Sanctuary. The beautiful song, "I can only imagine" was sung to remind us of her instant journey to a wonderful better place called Heaven that we can only imagine is her glorious reunion taking place with loved ones and most of all, her Redeemer and Master...Jesus Christ.

Her interment was at Walnut Lake Cemetery in Pickens, Arkansas by Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas, Arkansas.
