ALEXANDER HEATH DIED YESTERDAY

The funeral services of Alexander Toombs Heath, husband of Mrs. Cleo Moore Heath, who died at the residence, 2346 Wrightsboro road, Wednesday afternoon at 12:35 after an illness of six days, will be held from the residence Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. W.G. Crawley, pastor of Saint James Methodist church officiating. The internment will follow in the Westover cemetery.

Mr. Heath was born in Burke County, Ga., October 4, 1851, a son of Samuel Heath and Mrs. Francis Godbee Heath. He came to this city as a young man, having resided here for about 50 years. For the past 15 years he has been connected with the Riverside Mills of this city, as a salesman and broker. Prior to that time he had been engaged with the Peruvian Guano company of Charleston, S.C. He owned extensive farming interest in Richmond, Burke and Columbia counties. He was married on January 23, 1873 to Miss Isabelle Buxton, daughter of Samuel H. Buxton and Elizabeth Godbee Buxton of Burke county, who died several years ago, and from this union there survives him, one son, R. E. Heath of this city; one grandson, Robert E. Heath, Jr. of Fort Meyers.
