Quince Orchard, Md., June 27, 1932 — Rites for Daniel M. Howard, 84, retired farmer, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Violette, near here, were held Saturday.

Mr. Howard was a native of Frederick County, but had lived in the Quince Orchard neighborhood for 40 years.

He is survived by the following children: Bates Howard of Darnestown and Charles B. and Linwood Howard and Mrs. Violette of Quince Orchard.

The funeral took place from the Quince Orchard Methodist Church, with burial in the Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
