"CARNEY- PAUL CLARK, 57 of 4533 Cloverdale Loop, Hixson, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was a 36-year-employee of Dixie Yarns and president of the AIPE Club. He was a member of Brooks Memorial United Methodist Church and John Henry Pierce Masonic Lodge 752 F&AM. Survivors include his wife, Bunnie Daugherty Carney; two sons, Richard Carney, Red Bank, and Bradley Carney; daughter, Alicyne Carney, both of Hixson; sister, Betty Smith, Hopkinsville, Ky.; three grandchildren. Services will be held 2:30 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wallace Fowler and the Rev. Tom Redding officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home."
