Mrs. Alston Dies Friday

Mrs. Olive L. Alston, of 605 East 14th, a long-time resident of Casper, died early Friday morning at Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born Nov. 4, 1898 in Paris, Tex. She was reared and schooled in Texas and Oklahoma.

On July 14, 1918 she was married to Van H. Alston in Eldorado, Kan. Mr. Alston preceded her in death a number of years ago.

They came to Wyoming in 1926 to the Salt Creek Field, and had resided in Casper for over 30 years.

Mrs. Alston is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Olive Gray, of West Linn, Ore.; and a son Van Orden Alston, of Rawlins; and three grandsons.

Funeral services and interment will be held in Casper. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Bustard Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Olive L. Alston, 66, 605 East 14th, a long-time resident of Casper, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Bustard Funeral Home, the Rev. H. E. Chapin, First Christian Church, officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday until 1 p.m. The casket will not be open at the services.
