From The Fulton Sun: Gerall Loy Day, 65, of Fulton, Missouri passed away Monday morning, November 19, 2007 at his home. he was born on January 26,1942 in Fulton, a son of the late Tommy and Burtie Spillers Day. Gerall was married to Goldena Day who proceeded him in death, also proceeding him one daughter, Mary Sue Day, one sister Oveta and one nephew, Robert Day. He is survived by his children, Rick Day of Fulton, Oveta Sullavan of Phoenix, Arizona, James Day of Daleville, Virgina, Rebecca Dawkins of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Debra (DJ) Price of Lansing, Kansas, Regina Sherrow of Sweet Springs, Missouri, Angel Kerschner of Fulton, Missouri and Jenifer Jowers of Holts Summit, Missouri, sisters Chrystina Witt of Fulton, Loreta Rathel of Jefferson City, brother Norman Day of Fulton, twenty-seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Graveside services and burial will be held Tuesday at 2:00PM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetary in Macks Creek, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hedges-Scott Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Memorials may be sent to the Community of America Hospice in Columbia.
