Lewis Leonard Hutcheson, 66, of the 500 block of Dinwiddie Court, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Born in Snow Hill, Md., Mr. Hutcheson was the son of the late Leslie Ray and Janet Marshall Hutcheson. He retired from Tarmac, where he was a crane operator.
Mr. Hutcheson is survived by his wife, Barbara Hutcheson of Chesapeake; a son, Alan V. Wright and wife, Alison, of Guerneville, Calif.; two brothers, Ray Hutcheson and wife, Jackie, of Virginia Beach and Robert Hutcheson and wife, Elizabeth, of New York; a sister, Edna Wilson and husband, William, of Chesapeake; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by Father James E. Gordon. There will be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
