Funeral services for Rufus Earl "Big Boy" Wesley, 80 were held in the First United Methodist Church, Dr. Jay Beaves, minister, officiated.
He married Amy Holcomb in Eldorado, Oklahoma in 1920. He was an auto mechanic, had lived in Olney about 50 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors: wife; son - R.E. Wesley, Jr. of Olney; two brothers - Harold Wesley of Eldorado, OK; Frank Wesley of Fort Smith, AR; two sisters - Myrtle Jones of Corpus Christi, TX; Mrs. H. Higgins of Olney; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
