Motion Picture Screenwriter, Author. The son of producer and Paramount Pictures founder Jesse Lasky, he is best known for writing the screenplays for the Cecil B. DeMille motion picture Bible epics "Samson and Delilah" (1948) and "The Ten Commandments" (1955). In addition to over fifty screenplays, he also wrote novels and theater plays.
