Harlow A Briggs

WINDOM- Harlow A. Briggs, 82, died Nov. 30, 1994, at Hutchinson.

He was born Sept. 27, 1912, at Inman, the son of John Arthur and Minnie Achilles Briggs. A Windom resident since 1941, moving from Inman, he was a farmer.

He was a member of Andover Lutheran Church, a former church council board member of Andover Lutheran Church, a former Windom High School board member and a former member of the Windom Lions Club, all of Windom. He served in the 11th Armor Division of the U.S. Army during World War II.

On May 25, 1941, he married Elvera M. Ekholm at Windom. She survives.

Other survivors include; a son, Bryon, Windom; a daughter, Jalane White, Inman; and two sisters, Ruth Edwards and Maxine Pauls, both of Hutchinson.

Funeral will be at 10;30 a.m. Saturday at Andover Lutheran Church, Windom, with the Rev. Henry J. Hartman presiding. Burial will be in the Andover Cemetery.
