Franklin was born October 18, 1919 in Swartz Creek to the late Milo and Maggie (Bookham) Bloss. He married Marion McCrossen on November 17, 1939. Mr. Bloss served in the US Army during WW II. He was a farmer, then worked at GM several years. He was active in the Boy Scouts and loved being a clown, going to schools and hospitals. He was an active member of the Mt. Morris Church of Christ. Mr. Bloss owned and operated a hardware store for 42 years.
Surviving are: wife. Marion; 5 children, Jeannette (Bob) Laugavitz, Sharon Craglow, Dean (Helen) Bloss, Barbara (Jim) Shoens and Kevin (Beverly) Bloss; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Waitha (Wayne) Whitmer; sister-in-law, Mary Bloss; nieces, nephews and many friends. The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Tendercare of Frankenmuth for their loving care.
