Dr. H. Frank Freeman, a jeweler and optometrist in West Chester for more than 50 years, died last evening at 7:15 at his home, 31 E. Barnard st., after an illness of five weeks. He was in the 80th year.

Dr. Freeman was born at Downingtown, the son of W.H.M. Freeman and Mary Diem Freeman. He was the oldest past master of the Masonic Lodge of West Chester, having recently been honored on the completion of 50 years membership with the presentation of the 50 year pin.

For many years he was in business on Market st. and later at the corner of Church and Gay sts. He sold his location there to Earl Buckwalter and was last in partnership with Dr. Earld (sic) Welsh at Barnard and Miner sts.

The deceased is survived by a son, Millard Freeman, of West Chester, and a sister, Mrs. Frank Gregory of Harrisburg.
