Nora L. Stansell was the daughter of Iverson Lewis Stansell and Sarah Eve Morris Stansell; who both dead when Nora was just two years old. She was raised, as their daughter, by her uncle & aunt, Francis P. and Adaline Moore Stansell.
Nora lived in Augusta, Georgia her entire life; where she was an esteemed and beloved school teacher. She never married and lived with her cousin, Wardlaw Stansell; who was like a sister.
Nora dead at the age of 63 on the 28th of October 1949. She is buried along side her adopted family ~ Uncle Francis, Aunt Addie and Wardlaw Stansell in Westover Memorial Park cemetery.
