Services For Train Victim Set

Funeral services for Donald Wendell Coleman, 18, of East Rockingham, who was killed here Saturday night in a train accident, will be conducted Monday at 4 p.m. at the East Rockingham Free Will Baptist Church.
According to police reports, Coleman, a Seaboard Railroad employee, was riding on the left front steps of a locomotive operated by Roy Emerson Neely, of 3316 Rock Creek Drive, when the accident occurred.
According to Neely, Coleman gave him a go-ahead signal and he proceeded to move the locomotive.
Coleman was caught between the grab rails of his and another locomotive and crushed.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Dunn Coleman; one daughter, Sharon Rene Coleman; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse F. Coleman of East Rockingham; three sisters, Miss Pat Coleman of the home, Mrs. Audrey Collins of Goldsboro and Mrs. Sue Wilson of Hamlet; and three brothers, J. C. Coleman of Elkin, Tommy Ray Coleman of Rockingham, and Jimmy Coleman of Winston-Salem.
